Sound in WebIM crashe IE7 on WinXP
« on: May 23, 2009, 11:57:46 AM »
Just been testing WebIM and came a cross a major issue... Went in a as a visitor using WinXP and IE7 from one computer while logged in as an operator on another computer...  First time IE7 crashed completely (without reason given).  After that tried to restart and go in again.  Worked OK this time, but every time the visitor receives a message from an operator IE7 gives the following error: "An error occurred inside a plug-in contained on this page." Then "The plugin did not initialize properly".   When I click the Sound button to turn off the sound it works perfectly fine, so it sound like some issue with IE7 and the plugin.  Is there any way to disable sound by default and completely remove the sound button for visitors as it's impossible to control the environment they're using?
