Mibew Idle doesn't seem to function properly

When my computer is locked for some reason the tray application doesn't detect it and it still shows the online button.

I am on windows 7, but I also tested it on a windows XP machine and it does the same.

I am accessing my machine mainly using Remote desktop and I think this has something to do with the issue.

At the end I think the problem is with the remote desktop session. It seems that even after you close the remote connection the session is still alive and the user stay logged on. 
The computer is locked but for some reason Mibew tray still stays alive
