Why use webim?

After trying several utilities to chat, evaluate the benefits, simplicity of use and easy maintenance, like this:
Mohachat: be integrated into any database mysql, but its usefulness is not functional
phpfreechat: quick to install and operate, it is configurable but it requires programming skills, consumes virtually no bandwidth.
x7chat: excellent value, complex for the end user, allows restrictions configuration, create private chat rooms and public oversight, bandwidth, suitable for high volume users, the language shifts online, integrated (joomla, mysql , mambo, oracle, odbc, etc.), poor graphic interface, is in the process of moving to version 3 (x7chat3) service hostin charged, since January 2008 have not released new versions for which you want to implement in your web
webim: Easy to install, multi-language, modern graphic interface, easy to use for visitors; disadvantages of lack of bandwidth control, control refresh connection, not yet integrated with application authentication database.

So chose WEBIM that these impasses that soon will be overcome and surpass my expectations.

Buenos días, mi pregunta es la siguiente he descargado dicho programa y no se como iniciar, ya lo he descomprimido y como tú bien sabes el paquete viene un directorio sp y en este button, images y un archivo properties, no se como proceder para su instalación, necesito una guía que describa paso a paso dicha instalación. Gracias

Tienes primero que instalar el "paquete completo"  y después copiar el  directorio "sp" en  la carpeta "locales" de WebIm
