Eddybaur:
Thanks for the feedback guys! Any Goods and bads about it?

simplyfat:
- the software should be english by default, not russian.
- the software should ask the user for the webim-url on the first run and not asume localhost.
- some options are disabled (like sound). why?

Sheldmandu:
Yes, pretty much as outlined by SimplyFat... The program should be in English by default and ask for the WebIM server address.

Might also be worth getting rid of all the webim dot ru branding and any references to it as most people cannot read russian and that stuff isn't applicable to them.

Webim dot ru is not affiliated with Trilex Labs or Open Web IM.

Sheldmandu:
Well it may not be "affiliated", but it's all over the OpenWebIMTray application and it most certainly looks like OpenWebIM and WebIM dot ru have a lot in common.  Not that there's anything wrong with it, as there are now heaps of open source projects which have an actual company behind it and the company makes the money on services such as customisation, ondemand hosting and so on (e.g. Redhat, Magento, SugarCRM, etc).  Reality is that most customers don't want to deal with the technical side of things and its developers (if it has any) don't need to deal with unfamiliar code.
