Got an issue with Mibew, I find a lot of people click on it and never respond. I always use Chrome and don't have an issue but I realised a lot of the non-responders use IE, so I tried a test chat with myself (first sign of madness
).
First problem was Mibew asking me to install a media plug-in asking if I "trusted the site". This is probably because I've never used my IE and most users would maybe already have installed the plug-in, but I thought it could look a little dodgy from the end-user's perspective. I'm wondering if there's a way to disable audio/requirement for the plugin on the user's end?
The other issue was IE kept blinking timeout-reconnect and when I tried to send a message nothing happened (got javascript void on the status bar). Again, a few end-users have mentioned the timeout too.
It's the latest version FWIW.
