I will try today to update my current 1.6.4

Futhermore, this version still requeres quicktime to play sounds?
What about crossplatform with flash?

In my version i am using that solution. I think it's better.
I have read the poll request about audio but don't understand.
Is flash sounds or html5 or any other variant planning in new release?
Is looping sound planning in new release?

First of all, there will be no new features in Mibew 1.6.x branch. See the roadmap of the project

But since 1.6.5, quicktime (actually, embed tag) is used to play sounds only in browsers without audio tag support.  :)

HTML5 is already there.  ;)

I've already wrote you than this FR would be possible to implement in Mibew 2.x using Plugins API.
