Topic: call php function inside a button in history.handlebars file

Hi,
I am new in programming and i have a problem.
I have created a button inside history.handlebars file. When i click the button, it should call a function from a php file.
Can someone help me how to call the function in a .handlebars file?
I would appreciate it.
