Topic: Mibew 2.0 Too Many files opened issue

Hi,

We were using Mibew chat 1.0 and now are planning to migrate it to 2.0, Mibew 1.0 is hosted in production and it works fine, occasionally it causes below Apache error log but the services work fine. After installing 2.0, we are getting the same error frequently which in turn brings down the website. Please provide us with a solution, Thank you for helping us.

I don't think the problem is somehow related with Mibew itself. Most likely your system is miss-configured and the limit of files that could be opened at once is too small. Contact your hosting provider and describe the problem to him.
