pre-chat survey custom inputs

Hello, i searched back in the history of this forum but always found a "not for now, maybe for the 2.x version" answers. Last one was from 2014. Two years later, is there any way to get to add a couple of new fields in the pre-chat survey? I liked this chat and didn't want to change it for my customer!
I do not have time to create a custom plugin, but maybe there's an easy way to add them and i just couldn't find it.
