Ok... Are you sure you checked exactly that directory where sessions are stored?

Also, is it only your problem or other people have this troubles too? Have you tried to delete cookies in your browser? Have you tried different browsers?

Have you moved servers altered/added anything recently to the server, like cloudflare, or I haven't done anything but it was working fine a few days ago.
