Spamming?

Hi,

Recently I have been receiving 2 (two) Awaiting Visitors, only seconds apart: with both the same information: Name, Visitor's Address etc. They NEVER answer in chat! Usually it does not show the webpage where they came from.... is this a Spammer?

Anyway to avoid or STOP this?

How do they do this in the first place?... using the URL instead of clicking on a "Live Help" banner on the page?

Sounds like a bot.

If you don't have 'pre-survey' in place, or have 'pre-survey without captcha' being used, then bots can cause the effect that you describe.

Best way to deal with this is to record their IP address from the 'waiting list' feature, and add it to the Blocked Visitors / Ban List page.
