we have had an website made for us and they put the mibew codes into the website for us, but we are unsure how to use it, i have downloaded the newest version but don't know how to install or be able to talk to people

you need to talk to whoever set it up for you as they will know all of that. But it is probably www.your-domain.com/mibew

go there and it will ask you to login.

if it isn't setup like that then you need to post the url to your site.
