awaiting visitors are always "loading"

<< < (2/2)

Inspirer:
Which browser are you using? If you experience problems with javascript, try the following:
1. Hard Refresh a Page, Ctrl-F5 (win) or Cmd-Shift-R (mac)
2. Replace js files in /webim/js/163/ with unminified versions from /webim/js/source/*.js

The solution by kingtut0077 is bad for two reasons:
1. It is for 1.6.2 (doesn't support away status)
2. It replaces </a> with [/url] (all links have unclosed tags)

About the second problem. It seems you accidentally copied the function to the bottom of the file. You've got the problem at line 82, but the original file has only 81 lines.

l.dardanelli:
Thank you, for these elements...
I've done all what you says but

--- Quote ---
--- Code: ---Replace js files in /webim/js/163/ with unminified versions from /webim/js/source/*.js
--- End code ---

--- End quote ---
doesn't change any think, only the word "reconnecting" that isn't writen anymore.

kingtut0077, i'm ok the second point is not linked to the "awaiting visitors are always loading" problem.

Inspirer, i don't understand your explanation about the copied function to the bottom of the file, because my files are originals

I'm opened to further informations/explanations ...

In french, we can use @+ to say goodby, is it universal? Beginner's question...

I have this "loading" issue, but i can see that when I remove my header include for jquery, it is fixed.

issue is, I need the jquery functionality on the page.

how can i fix this please?

starchild:
Solved my issue - took the path of least resistance and just my admin left nav (that required jquery) in an iframe.  Easy.
