Hello everyone,
I have created a new patch for the Mibew system that includes a maintenance section. As of right now, the maintenance section only archives messages older than 45 days but it will eventually do more. I have attached the patch for you as well as my new features that I am working on.
New Features to come:
- SQL Backup
- Delete messages older than 730 days
- Allow archiving a date range instead of 45 days only
Give me feedback here if you find any bugs or have any suggestions to add to the maintenance section.
Thanks,
dmcdaniel

Do you need to put something in the SQL database or just replace the files?
In the last case it doesn't work for me, i'm getting several errors.
-
Yes. You need to put something in the database. There should be an SQL file in the zipped field. What errors are you receiving?
-
Actually, use this one. Its better:

Hi murulimadhav,
Remove ALL traces of files & edits made.
This has been updated with No errors here http://mibew.org/forums/index.php/topic,191152.0.html just follow the instructions, However, backup has not been added to this menu system, if a backup of the database is needed, it can be done by authorized personnel in phpmyadmin or other script.
Regards
