Trying to run with an SSL - but https://www .... does not work - only http://www .... anyway to fix this?

It also looks like the default browser to this is IE... any chance of supporting other browsers (FF, Chrome, Safari, etc?)

Thanks!

Try using "mozillia prisim"

http://labs.mozilla.com/2007/10/prism/

Prism is an application that lets users split web applications out of their browser and run them directly on their desktop.

Prism isn’t a new platform, it’s simply the web platform integrated into the desktop experience. Web developers don’t have to target it separately, because any application that can run in a modern standards-compliant web browser can run in Prism. Prism is built on Firefox, so it supports rich internet technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and <canvas> and runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.

I can confirm this doesn't work with SSL.  In my experience if I provide a URL starting with HTTPS it just defaults back to the mibew.org default.  FYI: When I click to chat it forces me to re-login and ignores the flag I set to force SSL connections.

As far as features I would like the app to function more like a fully featured client (no web needed (more like a chat application such as google chat)).  I just installed it so take this with a grain of salt but I'm not sure I see a need for the tray app in its current form as it basically just puts the page in a window.  (I realize its a first version just trying to give constructive feedback)  LivePerson has a pretty solid application that you could use as a reference for features.

Either way great work and I look forward to a bright future!

How about a scheduler? I would like to have it turn on every day at 9am and close at 5pm. I tried using windows task scheduler... but we all know how reliable that is.  :-\

That's all. Thanks! :-)

Hey you can do that with settings but for this no need to develop code and all. It is inbuilt.

Hey scheduler is also default application and you can set it after setting the time in it. If you done wrong setting then probably it will not work or may be if your pc is virus infected then may be virus corrupted your scheduler.

It would be nice for the following:

1. Option to have the final chat transcript automatically emailed (for backup purposes as a recorded call is) to a specified email address, not the visitor side.

2. Option for having the chat window produce a pop up notification window upon visitor call.
3. Continuous Looping Notification sound until answered by Operator (with a limit set for no answer of course)
4. Have a *required fields section integrated with the Visitor Name and initial question before operator connection.
5. Include sounds that are more "noticeable" such as ring or alarm or otherwise.
6. Enable html so visitor could just click on link posted by operator
7. Upload file option.

Same problem https doens't work.

I don't really see the difference from a web browser window.
