Hi,
I have been trying Web Messenger out and very pleased with it
One thing I would like to see is an option of a startpage, were the
user is prompt for "name" before entering the chat.

Yeah! You'll be able to turn on "Pre-chat survey" page in 1.6.0, which is going to be released next weekend.

Hi im new here and just started using this great software

sorry to bring up this old topic but i have been looking around the forum and found this one to be the most similar to my problem.

because at the chat history, we can only track/view the conversation by clicking at the visitor name, and at the reporting only chats with names will be counted,

so i want the prompt "name" at the pre-survey page to be mandatory so that we as admin can track the conversations later on.

im not an expert in php so i not sure how to edit it myself as your codes are really superbly secured and neat..so i dont know where to look for the "surveyform" code
