Topic: Help with time offset

Hi:

I have a new setup, about 36 hours old now, has been a great thing to add to my site - getting used a lot already. However, I can't get the time to use my own time zone. I have set EST for eastern time, I'm in Florida, but the time is still 3 hours off (that's 3 hours behind my time). I tried to use an offset of +10800 but it didn't work.

So how, exactly, do we set the time to match our own time?
